This modern classic, designed by Chuck Paine and hand-built by Cabo Rico’s craftsmen, has been maintained to bristol standards by its second owner. It features a true cutter rig and clipper bow. The hull motion at sea is exceptionally comfortable. She was designed with more displacement than the average yacht, with a powerful engine and a powerful sail plan. Chuck Paine said “She is genuinely fun to sail and a delight to helm.” Technical features include mutli-zone air conditioning, a watermaker, generator, inverter, radar/chart plotter, auto pilot, retractable bow thruster, electric primary and halyard winches and twin windlasses. The owner’s stateroom and guest cabin each have an en-suite head and shower. After cruising the Bahamas and US east coast, the owner is reluctantly putting this beauty on the market.

The Mason 34 is an evolution and slight expansion of an earlier and well proven Mason design. Her underbody was updated and refined to maximize cruising performance. The Mason 34 design concept, construction and inherent quality are consistent with the Mason tradition. She is the only real yacht of her size built to this level of excellence. Roller furler and self-tailers make her a modern short-handling delight. This is a yacht to be admired and a yacht to proudly sail. She is fast to windward and loves to reach as well.

Her twin diesels give her tremendous manoeuvrability in close quarters and redundancy offshore.
