Calypso Poet comes from the drawing board of Bill Crealock, one of the few naval architects to sail around the world in a small boat, and the legendary craftsmen at Cabo Rico Yachts. Extensively equipped with roller furling, electric windlass, autopilot, and air conditioning, the list goes on. The convivial layout features a v-berth and head with separate stall shower forward and quarterberth aft. This vessel is a true cutter with a classic clipper bow and modified full keel.
Built in 1987 and commissioned in 1990, the current owners sailed her on the Great Lakes from 1992 through 1996, moved aboard full-time in 1996 and headed south to Florida and the Bahamas. They’ve cruised her primarily two to three months a year in the Exumas and spent the rest of the year in living aboard in Fort Lauderdale.
Calypso Poet shows beautifully and is in superb condition.
