Bay Colony Club is a condominium community north of the Commercial bridge. The community is just south of the Pompano Beach – Ft. Lauderdale city line. South is Lauderdale-by-the-sea and Sea Ranch neighborhoods. To the west is Pine Crest School. To the east is the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and beach. Bay Colony Club provides dockage for lease to residents on a canal that lines the south eastern side of the property.

The property is gated. You must call for a resident to let you in. The guard gives you a white slip to place in your dashboard. He/she will open the gate and pass you through.

Drive along the right hand side. The road is one-way circling the Bay Colony Club. On your right is the canal. Mostly small to mid size power boats line the water with a few sailboats. Turn into one of the parking lots between condominium buildings and park in a green guest spot.

The docks are in fine shape made of wooden slats. The club provides mooring whips to easily and securely attach a boat. Pilings also provide another possibility for docking. Dock boxes lie before the dock spaces.

To get out, you join the one-way street encircling the property by cutting through a parking lot and turning port. An automatic gate opens for you to exit.
